I recently had an MRI scan where the doctor had me injected with Gadoterate 10mmol/20ml Inj, 20ml. It’s a contrast agent that helps make certain parts of the body, like organs or tumors, show up more clearly on the MRI. I’m curious about other people’s experiences with this or similar contrast agents. I’ve noticed a few things and wanted to see if it was common or not. Did anyone experience any side effects after the injection? I felt a bit warm and had a slight headache afterwards, but it passed quickly. I’m just wondering if this is typical for gadolinium-based contrast agents. I also noticed the injection site was a little irritated, but nothing too serious. Any advice on how to manage this or should I be concerned at all? Thanks in advance for any insights!
