I'm scheduled for surgery next month and my doctor recommended Marcaine 0.25% Injection for pain relief during the procedure. Does anyone have any experience with this local anesthetic? I've read about some serious side effects, but my doctor made it seem like they're quite rare. I'm just trying to prepare myself for what to expect. Has anyone had any unusual side effects after using this? How long does the numbing effect typically last?
