I've been dealing with chronic pain for a while now, and my doctor just prescribed me a Fentanyl 12mcg/hr Patch. I've read the basic info, but I'm still unsure what to expect. I know it's a strong opioid, but I want to know more about the side effects, how it feels, and how it will affect my daily life. Has anyone else used this patch? What's it like? Any tips? Also curious to learn how long it takes to become effective and how often I should expect to change the patch.
