I've recently been prescribed Zanosar (Streptozocin) for islet cell carcinoma. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the severe ones. I've read about allergic reactions, infections, kidney problems, and even tissue damage if the drug leaks from the vein. Has anyone had experience with this drug? What was your experience like? Any tips on managing the side effects or anything else I should know? I'd really appreciate some insights.
