Have any of you tried Vestura, the birth control pill that contains ethinyl estradiol and drospirenone? I've been considering it for both birth control and acne treatment, but I'm hearing mixed reviews. I'm particularly curious about the side effects and how people have managed them. I've heard the pill can help with acne, but I'm also wondering about more serious side effects—has anyone experienced any of the more serious issues such as blood clots or liver problems? Any insights or advice would be super helpful!

I've been on Vyfemla Tablets 28s for about six months now. I was excited to hear about its effectiveness and the convenience of taking one pill per day. However, my experience with side effects has been bad and I'm considering switching to a different form of birth control. During the first month, I experienced severe headaches and dizziness, which I initially brushed off as stress. It was only after researching the side effects that I realized these symptoms aren't listed among the less severe ones. I'm also worried about the impact on my depression, given that mood changes are a listed side effect. I've also noticed changes in my menstruation patterns. Some days, I experienced heavy bleeding, while other times it was spotting. I'm glad that it is not life- threatening, but its effectiveness in preventing pregnancy is not worth the trade-off of having to go through these side effects. I'm hoping to get some insight from others who have gone through the same experience, and if anyone knows of a better alternative. Let's discuss!
