I've recently been prescribed Valstar 40mg/ml Solution for my bladder cancer treatment, specifically for carcinoma in situ (CIS). My doctor explained that it's a chemotherapy medicine administered directly into the bladder to stop cancer cells from growing and dividing. I'm wondering if anyone else has experience with this treatment and can share what to expect in terms of side effects and overall experience. The list of possible side effects is quite long, and I'm hoping to get some practical insights from others who have been through this. Also, the doctor mentioned it's normal to have red-colored urine for up to 24 hours, but I'm a bit concerned about that. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.
