I was recently prescribed Potassium Cit 1080mg (10meq) Tabs to help prevent kidney stones. The doctor said the medication makes your urine less acidic and increases citrate levels, which helps prevent certain types of kidney stones from forming or growing. I have heard it can also help with a condition called renal tubular acidosis. I want to know if anyone else has taken this medication and, if so, how it has worked for them. Were there any concerning side effects? Are there things I should look out for while taking this? I am curious about any user experiences, both positive and negative.
