I was recently prescribed Ceftriaxone/dex 1gm Inj 50ml to treat a severe case of pneumonia. The antibiotic worked wonders for my infection, but I experienced some concerning side effects that I want to share with everyone. At first, I had some mild diarrhea and upset stomach, which weren't too bad. However, after a few days, I started feeling extremely sleepy and had bouts of confusion. I also noticed some severe back pain and changes in urine output. It was terrifying. I immediately contacted my doctor, and after some tests, it turned out I had signs of kidney problems. The doctors had to adjust my dosage and monitor my condition closely. I'm grateful that I caught it early, but I want others to be aware of these potential risks. If you're on this medication, please keep an eye out for any severe side effects and seek medical help right away. It's better to be safe than sorry. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?
