I've been using Cosentyx (secukinumab) 150mg/ml for about six months now to manage my psoriasis, it's an injection under the skin that works by blocking IL-17A. Overall, I've had a positive experience with it, but I wanted to share my story and hear from others who have used this medication. I've found that the injections are relatively easy to do at home, but the mental hurdle of giving yourself a shot takes some getting used to. Has anyone else had trouble with this? I've also noticed some side effects like nose or throat irritation, and a few episodes of diarrhea, but nothing too severe. I've been lucky to avoid any of the more serious side effects like signs of infection or severe skin problems, so that's a plus. I've heard from others that they've had issues like a common cold, have any of you experienced similar? I've found that the most important thing is to be consistent with the injections and to stay in close contact with my doctor. I also keep my skin moisturized to help with any dryness or irritation. I take this medicine in conjunction with others to help with flare ups, has anyone else used Cosentyx alongside other medications?
