I was prescribed Actiq 600mcg Transmucosal for breakthrough cancer pain, and wow, it's intense. This stuff works incredibly fast, but the side effects are no joke. I've had some serious dizziness and constipation, and I'm always paranoid about my breathing. I've had to be super careful with how much I use and when. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'm curious to know how others manage these side effects. I've heard horror stories about serotonin syndrome, and I'm terrified of that happening. I've been in contact with my doctor, but I am still worried. Maybe I'm overreacting, but it's always better to be safe, right?
