I'm planning a hiking trip to Canada and I'm torn between hiking the West Coast Trail in the spring vs summer. I've heard the trail is stunning in both seasons, but I'm worried about the weather and trail conditions. If you've done either, what was your experience like? What are the pros and cons of each season? Should I pack special gear for either season? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
