I've been taking Descovy 120mg/15mg Tablets for a couple of months now, and while it's been effective in managing my HIV, I've had some side effects that I wasn't expecting. I've had some mild kidney issues, like frequent urination, and occasional dizziness but these can be burdensome on the body. My doctor mentioned that these could be related to Descovy, but they could also be due to other factors, so I'm still monitoring it closely. I've also read about other people experiencing issues with kidney functions, so I'm definitely not alone, but it's still something I wish I could have avoided. I've talked to my doctor about this a few times and they assured me that anything I feel is normal but getting a second opinion doesn't hurt. Has anyone else out there experienced similar side effects? How did you manage them? I'm all ears for advice. Also, I'm curious to hear about what it's like for people on PrEP. These attention to detail on side effects is pretty rare in the medical industry.

I recently started taking Descovy 200mg/25mg Tabs for HIV prevention (PrEP). I've heard a lot about the side effects, both minor and serious, but I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced the same issues. I've had some stomach discomfort and diarrhea, but I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning to my doctor or if it's just a normal adjustment period.
