I was prescribed Famvir 125mg tablets for a recent outbreak of shingles. The medication seems to be working well, but I've been experiencing some side effects that I wasn't expecting. I thought it was just for shingles, so I did some research and found that it works for cold sores and genital herpes as well, which is pretty interesting.
