Parasabiv: A Lifeline for Kidney Disease Patients, or a Dangerous Risk?
Parasabiv, a medication used to control parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels in patients with kidney disease by being given by injection into your vein at the end of your dialysis session, has a controversial reputation. While it can help keep bones healthy and prevent other problems caused by high PTH, the potential side effects are severe. I have been prescribed Parsabiv 2.5mg/0.5ml Sdv, 0.5ml and am absolutely terrified of these side effects. I am looking to see if anyone else has experiences with this medication or any tips for managing side effects, especially for those who have experienced serious symptoms like abnormal heartbeats or allergic reactions. It's crucial to know what I'm getting into and how to best handle this treatment.
