I was recently diagnosed with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD) and my doctor prescribed Prolastin-C 1000mg Inj, 1 Vial. I'm a bit nervous about starting this treatment, especially since it's made from human blood. I've read about the possible side effects, but I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. What should I expect?
