I have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and my doctor has prescribed me Qtern 10mg/5mg Tablets. The medication contains dapagliflozin and saxagliptin, which help manage blood sugar levels in different ways. Dapagliflozin helps by removing excess sugar through urine, while saxagliptin aids in insulin production and reduces the liver's sugar output. However, the list of potential side effects is quite lengthy, with some being extremely serious. I am concerned about the severity of these side effects. Has anyone else experienced any of these issues? Are they as bad as they sound, or is it just standard procedure to list everything and anything that could possibly happen?
