Smoflipid is a special type of fat solution given through a vein (intravenously) to people who cannot eat or absorb enough nutrients through their digestive system. It provides calories and essential fats that your body needs for energy and to stay healthy. I've been prescribed this medication and I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone had any experience with Smoflipid 100gm/500ml Emu Inj 500ml? I'd love to hear about your experiences, good or bad. How did you manage the side effects? Did you notice any improvements in your health? Any tips on how to handle the infusion process would be greatly appreciated!

I've been prescribed Smoflipid for my complete intravenous feeding program, and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced any serious side effects. The list is quite long and a bit scary. Upset stomach or vomiting is the most common one here but I'll be on the lookout for any of the severe ones described. I'm hoping to hear from others, if you've been on this and had any scary moments or are easily managing. Also, let me know how you're doing now or if you had any resources to deal with the anxiety that came with it.
