It looks like there are some really serious side effects associated with Terazosin 2mg medications. I'm curious if any of you have had any issues with it and would like to hear about it. If you've had a side effect or know someone that did, please share your experience. I believe Terazosin 2mg is meant to treat hypertension, and that it is also used for symptoms of BPH (prostate enlargment). Regardless, I'd like to hear if the side effects on here are common, or if Terazosin is something best avoided. The previous posts about Terazosin 2mg side effects seems to have not been fully disclosed and in some cases, it seems like Terazosin has even lead to trouble sleeping or even caused some mild depression.

I was recently prescribed Hytrin 1mg Capsules (Terazosin) for both high blood pressure and an enlarged prostate. The doctor explained that this medication helps by relaxing blood vessels and muscles in the prostate and bladder, which should help with urine flow. I've been on it for a few weeks now, and I'm noticing some changes, but I'm also a bit concerned about the side effects. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'm curious to know about both the positive effects and any side effects you might have encountered. Also wondering how it compares to other BPH medications out there, like Flomax.
