I've been dealing with athlete's foot on and off for a while now, and I recently tried Tolnaftate 1% Cream 15gm. It's an over-the-counter (OTC) medicine used to treat common fungal infections of the skin, such as athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and ringworm (tinea corporis). It works by stopping the growth of the fungus. I've read that while rare, some people may experience severe and potentially life-threatening side effects when taking this medication.
