Hey everyone! I just got my Vaxneuvance 0.5ml IM vaccine today to protect against those nasty pneumococcal bacteria which can cause pneumonia, meningitis, and bacteremia. The nurse said it might sting a bit, but I didn't really feel anything unusual. I've been reading about the possible side effects but just wanted to see if anyone else has had this vaccine and if they experienced any of them I've been seeing a lot of chatter online. My main concern is the potential allergic reaction, so I'll be keeping a close eye out for any of the symptoms listed like hives or swelling. Does anyone have any insights or tips on dealing with minor side effects like muscle pain or headaches? Also, if you've had kids get this vaccine, I'd love to know how they handled it.
