I've heard about a new chewable birth control pill called Galbriela FE, which not only helps prevent pregnancy but also includes iron to prevent iron deficiency. Has anyone tried this? I'm curious about how it differs from traditional pills and if the chewable format is actually convenient in practice. I've also seen some scary side effects listed, including blood clots and liver problems. Are these side effects really common, or is this just standard scary pharmaceutical warning language? Is the iron content worth it, or should I just take an iron pill separately? I'm thinking about switching from my current pill, which I hate because of how hard it is to swallow, but I don't want to make things worse by dealing with unwanted side effects.
