I've recently been prescribed Calcitriol 1mcg/ml Inj, 1ml for low calcium levels and bone disease. This is a man-made form of vitamin D primarily used for people with kidney failure who are on dialysis. I am curious to hear from anyone who has experience with this medication. What have been your experiences? What side effects did you encounter? Is there anything you wish you'd known before starting? I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially since the urgent side effects can be life-threatening.
