I was recently prescribed Zithromax 500mg Sdv Inj, 1 Vial for a severe case of pneumonia. I've never had an IV antibiotic before and I'm a bit nervous. The potential side effects are concerning, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions and liver problems. Has anyone else gone through this? I want to know what to expect. Also, what should I do if I start feeling some of the side effects? My doctor said to call, but you all know first-hand experiences are invaluable.
