I've been taking Aciphex 20mg Tablets for a few months now to manage my acid reflux, and I've had some mixed experiences. The medication has definitely helped with the heartburn, but I've noticed some side effects. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or has any advice on managing these side effects. Aciphex (Rabeprazole) is a PPI that reduces the acid production in your stomach. It's supposed to help with conditions like heartburn, acid reflux, and stomach ulcers. I started taking it because my doctor recommended it for my severe acid reflux. It worked really well at first, but then I started noticing some side effects. I've experienced headaches, and an upset stomach which I only expected to see when I started taking the medication. I've also had constipation, diarrhea, and some gas. I don't know if these are common side effects or if I'm just unlucky. I've been trying to manage them with diet changes, but it's been a bit of a struggle. I've also read about some more serious side effects like severe dizziness, fainting, and even lupus. That's scary stuff. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I'm also curious about how long people have been on this medication. I'm not sure if I should be taking it long-term or if there are other options I should consider. Any insights would be appreciated!
