I was prescribed Cefepime 1gm Inj, 1 Vial for a severe lung infection, and I've been reading about the potential side effects. I'm a bit freaked out by the list of urgent side effects. Is it common for people to experience any of these while taking Cefepime, especially the allergic reactions and nervous system problems? I have no history of kidney problems, but I’m still worried. Also, is it safe for me to take another antibiotic for the diarrhea if I get it? (I can’t stand the thought of running to the hospital for the slightest inconvenience but I want to be safe) This drug is supposed to work well, but with such a scary list of possible side effects, I’m starting to wonder if it's worth the risk. I've also been considering alternative treatments, but I am not sure what to do. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
