I've been using Biogtuss Liquid for a couple of days to deal with a persistent cough and congestion, and I've noticed some unexpected side effects. This combination of guaifenesin, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine has definitely helped loosen the mucus and reduce my coughing, but I've been feeling pretty drowsy and dizzy. I also noticed I feel more nervous than usual. My biggest concern is the potential for allergic reactions. It seems that some people have experienced life-threatening conditions, and I'm a bit worried. I must say that the decongestant works fantastic to relieve the stuffy nose, but I'm thinking of calling my doctor for advice on these new symptoms to be on the safe side. Has anyone else had similar experiences with Biogtuss Liquid? If so, how did you manage these side effects? I'm seriously considering switching medications if these symptoms persist. Also, has anyone reported any of these side effects to the FDA? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
