I've been prescribed Deferoxamine 2gm Inj 1 Vial to manage excess iron from multiple blood transfusions. The doctor said it's crucial for protecting my liver and heart, but the side effects list is scary. Has anyone here had experience with this med? How bad are the side effects really, and are they manageable? I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm also worried about long-term effects. Also curious how the injection process is handled.
