I was recently prescribed Dextrose 10% Injection (500ml) and I'm a bit nervous about potential side effects. I know it's used to provide energy and maintain fluid balance, but the list of side effects is quite long. Has anyone else had experience with this? I'm particularly concerned about the urgent side effects like allergic reactions and fluid/electrolyte problems. Any advice on what to watch out for or how to manage potential issues would be greatly appreciated. I've been told that the local hospital can provide IV infusions (injections) and training but I'm still worried about possible complications.
