I was prescribed Fentanyl Citrate Oral Transmucosal Lozenge for managing breakthrough cancer pain. It’s amazing how quickly it works, but I’m also aware of the serious side effects. Has anyone else used this and experienced any of the urgent side effects listed? I’m just looking for some reassurance or advice on how to handle it if something goes wrong. On the plus side, the relief is almost instant, which is a godsend when dealing with sudden flare-ups. However, the side effects can be quite concerning, especially the potential for serotonin syndrome if mixed with other drugs. I’ve heard some horror stories, so it's essential to be very careful.
