I've been on Humulin R U-100 for a while, but my doctor recently suggested switching to Humulin R U-500 Kwikpen due to my high insulin doses. I've heard it has a longer-lasting effect, but I'm nervous about the potential side effects, especially those really serious ones like allergic reactions and low potassium levels.
