My sister has been given Pentobarbital after a bad seizure event. She has previously had several seizures, but this one was very severe, so the hospital has started her on Pentobarbital 50mg/ml Inj, 20ml via IV. I don't know much about this medication, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience with it and how it should affect her. I found a list of side effects and they worry me a bit. I'm also curious about the long-term effects, as I know it affects brain activity. Can anyone share any information or experiences they've had?
