I've been struggling with insomnia for months now, and my doctor prescribed me Restoril 22.5mg Capsules. I've heard mixed things about Temazepam, and I'm not sure what to expect. Has anyone else tried this medication? What were your experiences like? I'm really hoping it helps me get a good night's sleep, but I'm also a bit nervous about the side effects. Any advice or stories would be greatly appreciated!

I was prescribed Restoril 30mg capsules for my insomnia, and while they've helped me sleep, I've also experienced some concerning side effects. I've heard mixed things about this medication and have even seen sleepwalking reported. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'm considering talking to my doctor about switching to something else, but I wanted to hear from others first. Restoril has been a bit of a double-edged sword for me. On one hand, it knocks me out and keeps me asleep through the night, which is a huge improvement from my usual insomnia struggles. On the other hand, I've woken up feeling incredibly groggy and disoriented the next day, and I've also noticed some memory issues. I've even had a couple of moments where I've woken up in the middle of the night not knowing where I was. Anybody else experience any strange things after taking it? Any advice would be appreciated, as this is really concerning me. I’ve read the side effects online which include things like severe allergic reactions, and changes in mood and depression. I don’t want to continue taking Restoril if it’s going to mess with my brain like this.
