I've been using Siltussin DM Alcohol Free Syrup for a while now, and I'm curious to hear from others who have tried it. This medicine is supposed to help relieve cough and chest congestion by thinning and loosening mucus with Guaifenesin and reducing the urge to cough with Dextromethorphan. I've found it pretty effective, but I'm always a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The list is pretty scary, including serious allergic reactions and other issues that require immediate medical attention. Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects, or am I just being paranoid? I also want to know if anyone has reported side effects to the FDA and what their experience was like. It's always good to be aware of the risks, but I'm hoping to hear more about the benefits and how others have managed any issues that came up.
