I was prescribed Valacyclovir 500mg Tablets for a recent outbreak of herpes zoster (shingles). The medication was effective in managing the symptoms, but I experienced some side effects that I wasn't prepared for. The most concerning were the hallucinations and mood changes, which I had to address with my doctor. Has anyone else experienced these severe side effects? I'm interested in hearing about your experiences and any tips you might have for managing the side effects. Did anyone else get them?
