I was recently prescribed Venofer 20mg/ml Inj, 10ml to treat my iron deficiency anemia, which has been particularly challenging due to my kidney disease. I've had mixed feelings about it, so I'm here to share some of my personal experience and also hear from others here who might be on the same medication. What are the biggest differences you notice between this and oral iron supplements? It's a bit daunting to start an IV treatment. Do you have any advice to share, especially regarding side effects? I'm particularly curious because this is the first time I'm getting iron through an IV. How often are you guys getting infusions, and how do they impact your daily life?
