I was diagnosed with HIV a few years ago. After extensive research and discussions with my doctor, I started taking Ziagen (Abacavir) 300mg Tablets as part of my combination therapy. Initially, I was apprehensive about the potential side effects, especially the severe ones like allergic reactions and lactic acidosis, but my doctor reassured me that while rare, these are manageable with prompt medical attention. So far, I've experienced some mild side effects like headaches and trouble sleeping, but nothing I can't handle. I've also noticed an improvement in my CD4 cell count, which is a huge relief. However, I'm curious to know if anyone else has had a similar experience or faced different challenges while taking this medication. Do you think I should consider switching to another medication?
