I'm scheduled for a minor dental procedure and my dentist recommended using Lidocaine with Epinephrine to numb the area. I've read about the possible side effects, and while I know they're rare, I can't help but feel anxious. I'm particularly worried about the signs of an allergic reaction and methemoglobinemia, as those sound quite scary. Has anyone here had any negative experiences with this drug? I'd love to hear some reassuring stories or, at the very least, more information to set my mind at ease.
