Living with Hypophosphatasia: My Experience with Strensiq 80mg/0.8ml (0.8ml) Inj, 1 Vial
I was diagnosed with hypophosphatasia (HPP) a few years ago, and since then, my life has been a journey of managing this rare bone disease. Recently, my doctor prescribed Strensiq, a medication that replaces the missing alkaline phosphatase enzyme. This enzyme is crucial for building strong bones, and for those of us with HPP, it's a game-changer. Strensiq has helped me immensely in strengthening my bones and reducing some of the problems caused by HPP. However, like any medication, it comes with its own set of side effects. I've experienced some mild reactions at the injection site, but nothing too severe. I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else here has been on Strensiq and what their journey has been like.
