So, I've been taking Asenapine Maleate 5mg SL Tablets for a few months now to manage my bipolar I disorder. I've noticed some side effects, but I also feel like my mood swings are under better control. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the side effects and how they compare to other medications in this class. It's also worth noting that the tablets are a bit weird to take since they dissolve under the tongue, but that's a small trade-off for the benefits I'm seeing. I am curious to hear if anyone has experienced some of the more serious side effects such as NMS or Tardive dyskinesia. The list of potential side effects is quite long and can be scary to read. I am also interested to know if anyone has any tips on how to best manage the side effects such as the dizziness, drowsiness, or increased appetite.
