I just got my first saline flush (Sodium Chloride 0.9% Injection) at the hospital, and the nurse said it's to keep my IV line clear. I've seen a lot of people mentioning side effects, but honestly I have no idea what to expect? What should I be worried about, and what's just normal? I also heard something about reporting side effects to the FDA, is that true? I feel a bit overwhelmed by it all.
