Anyone else experiencing excessive hair growth from Minoxidil 2.5mg Tablets?
I started taking Minoxidil 2.5mg Tablets a few months ago to treat my severe hypertension. My doctor assured me it would relax my blood vessels and make it easier to control my blood pressure. However, I've started noticing a lot more hair growth in unexpected places. I know hair growth can be a side effect, but I wasn't expecting it to be this intense. Has anyone else had this experience? Are there any tricks to manage it, or should I talk to my doctor about switching medications? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

Minoxidil hair growth is a common thing. I switched to a lower dosage and it helped a bit. Just remember it's better than having a stroke, so deal with it.
I’ve personally not had that issue, but I’d definitely look into the cream solution. Every human body is different, so who knows what will help. All I know is I feel better. So grateful.
I experienced the same thing! It was so weird at first, but my doctor said it's normal. I started using a depilatory cream to manage the extra hair. It's a hassle, but it's better than dealing with a heart attack.
My doctor prescribed a beta-blocker to complement the Minoxidil. It helped with the hair growth, and I have noticed an improvement in my blood pressure. But now I have trouble sleeping. I’m not sure what to do.
Not really sure if it would help, but I’ve heard about people using natural remedies to reduce hair growth, but it hasn’t been scientifically proven, so be wary.
I think if you’ve got it under control, it’s worth doing. I’m kind of happy I don’t have to worry too much about it. But I’d rather deal with that than the alternatives.
