I just started using Retin-A 0.025% Gel for my acne. I've heard it can take a while to see results, but I'm hoping to get some insights from others who have used it. I've applied it every night for the past week, but my skin is still a bit irritated. Is this normal? How long did it take for you to see improvements? Also, do you have any tips for reducing the initial irritation? I'm really hoping this works because I've tried so many other treatments with no luck. Thanks in advance for any advice! Also, what if any side effects did you experience?

Did your doctor prescribe this, or did you just pick it up at the drugstore? I'm wondering if a lower percentage might be better for you.

Make sure you're not using other harsh products on your face while using this. It's better to keep your routine simple.

Just remember, purging is a thing. Your skin might look worse before it looks better, but stick with it and it should improve. But if you have serious concerns talk to your doctor.

Make sure to moisturize generously! I use a little bit of Vaseline on top of my Retin-A and it helps with the dryness.
