I've been taking Flomax 0.4mg Capsules for a couple of months now to manage my enlarged prostate symptoms. So far, it's been a bit of a mixed bag. The urine flow has improved, but I've been experiencing some dizziness and weakness. I've also had a couple of episodes of diarrhea, which is pretty uncomfortable. Has anyone else had similar issues? I'm dealing with the runny nose. I thought it was just allergies, but it's been happening consistently every time I take the meds. I've been taking pseudoephedrine to help but it's annoying. I don't want to take Flomax and swing by the pharmacy every day.
Honestly, I was surprised how effective Flomax was. It totally changed my quality of life! I wish my doctor had prescribed it sooner. Don't get me wrong, some of the side effects were pretty bad, but the benefits have outweighed them.
I had really bad dizziness and fainting spells. I had to stop taking Flomax completely. My doctor switched me to something else and I haven't had any issues since. Might be worth talking to your doctor if it's serious.

I've been on Flomax for a year and the dizziness did improve after a few weeks. Just be careful when getting out of chairs or beds and take it easy. Definitely talk to your doctor if it continues. I also had a couple of bad headaches when I started, but those went away too. For the diarrhea, you can try some over the counter meds to help with that. Hang in there, it should get better!
I've had no issues with side effects at all, and it's been a lifesaver for my BPH symptoms. Just make sure to take it at the same time every day and you should be good.
