I've been using Clobetasol Prop 0.05% Gel for a few weeks now to treat my psoriasis, and while it's helped with the itching and redness, I've been experiencing some concerning side effects. I've noticed some thinning of the skin and a bit of hair growth in the area I've been applying it. I'm not sure if this is normal or if I should be worried. I've been using it exactly as prescribed, but I'm starting to feel a bit anxious about these side effects. Has anyone else experienced similar issues, and if so, what should I do? I've read about the potential for serious side effects, and I want to make sure I'm not putting myself at risk. Thanks in advance for any insights or advice.

Side effects are never fun, but thinning skin and hair growth sound serious. Definitely talk to your doctor ASAP.

Clobetasol is super strong. I had major issues with it and switched to a gentler steroid. Much better results!

I stopped using it because of the side effects. I switched to a different prescription and it's been better. Sometimes our bodies just don't agree with certain meds.

You might be overusing it. Make sure you're not applying more than prescribed. Even a little extra can cause issues.
