Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Fluconazole 200mg Tablets?
I've been prescribed Fluconazole 200mg Tablets for a fungal infection and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I've read about some serious ones, like allergic reactions and liver problems, but I'm hoping to hear from others who have taken this medication. How did you handle the side effects? Were they as bad as they sound? I'm particularly worried about the signs of a weak adrenal gland. Has anyone experienced this? Any tips on managing the side effects or just general advice would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to ask your doctor about some other options. There are other antifungals out there that might have fewer side effects. Sometimes it's worth exploring alternatives if the risks seem too high for you.
I've never had any issues, but I've heard horror stories about the liver problems. If you start feeling super tired or your skin turns yellow, that's a bad sign. You should definitely get checked out immediately.
I had a mild headache and some nausea, but nothing I couldn't handle. Just make sure to stay hydrated and eat light meals. Also, fluconazole can cause dizziness, so be careful when driving or operating heavy machinery.
I took Fluconazole a few years ago for a yeast infection and had no issues at all. I was lucky, I guess. But I had a friend who had a bad reaction– they broke out in hives and had to go to the ER. Definitely something to keep an eye on!
The worst part about Fluconazole for me was the change in taste. Everything tasted metallic for a few days. Not fun, but at least it wasn’t life-threatening. Hang in there!
My doctor said the key is to finish the entire course even if you start feeling better. Stopping early can lead to recurrence. Just be vigilant about the side effects and call your doctor if needed.
I've had some stomach issues with Fluconazole, but nothing too serious. Just some upset stomach and vomiting. I found that taking it with food helped a lot. But yeah, the rare side effects are scary. I'd definitely call your doctor if you notice anything weird.
I've been on Fluconazole for a week now and I'm feeling okay so far. I've had a bit of stomach pain but it is bearable. The thought of a weak adrenal gland and abnormal heartbeat is really scaring me though.
