Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Novantrone 2mg/ml Injection?
I recently started taking Novantrone 2mg/ml Injection for my MS treatment. I've heard that it can have some serious side effects, and I'm feeling a bit anxious. Has anyone else had this treatment and experienced any of the more severe side effects, like allergic reactions or infections? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. I'm particularly worried about the urinary tract infections and bleeding issues.

If you have any changes in vision or urination, please see your doctor immediately. These can be signs of kidney problems.
I know it's tough, but try not to worry too much. The side effects can vary greatly from person to person. Just keep your doctor in the loop and hopefully it will go smoothly.
I had an allergic reaction after my first dose, I was wheezing and my throat felt like it was closing up. Scary but thankfully I called for help right away and I'm fine now.
I've been on Novantrone for about 6 months now, and I've had some typical side effects like hair loss and fatigue, but nothing too severe. Make sure you're in close contact with your doctor, and report any issues right away.
As a nurse, I can tell you that the blue urine thing is perfectly normal. Don't panic if you see it! The other things mentioned will really need to be discussed with a doctor.
