I've been prescribed Synalar 0.025% Cream for my eczema, and I've heard about some serious potential side effects. Has anyone else had experience with this cream? I'm particularly curious about the rare but serious side effects like allergic reactions, high blood sugar symptoms, or adrenal gland issues. I've also read that it can cause skin changes and irritation at the site of application. How did you handle any side effects, and what did your doctor recommend to mitigate them?

I had a bad reaction to it—got hives and my skin started peeling. It was scary. I stopped using it right away and contacted my doctor. Turns out, I'm allergic to some of the ingredients. Always good to be cautious!

I'm really concerned about the high blood sugar symptoms. I have a family history of diabetes, so I'm hesitant to start using this. Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

I used Synalar for a while and didn't experience any severe side effects, but I did have some burning and stinging initially. It went away after a few days. I found it really effective for my psoriasis, though.

I switched to a different cream because of the side effects. My dermatologist recommended a different topical steroid that worked better for me. It's all about finding what works best for your skin.

I've been using it for a few months now, and I think it's working well. I haven't had any major side effects, just some dryness. I use a gentle moisturizer after applying the cream, and that seems to help.
