I was prescribed Verapamil 40mg Tablets to manage my high blood pressure and angina. The doctor mentioned some possible side effects, but I'm really concerned about the urgent ones. Has anyone else had issues with allergic reactions or liver problems? I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard not to worry. I'd appreciate any insights or personal experiences from others who have taken this medication. How did you cope with the side effects, if any? I also have questions about the other possible side effects, like dizziness and constipation. Are these common, or did you find ways to mitigate them? Having any information will help me feel more at ease. Thanks in advance!

I know someone who experienced severe dizziness and fainting. It was scary, but they switched to a different medication and were fine.

My mom took Verapamil and had no issues at all. She said the first month was a bit rough as her blood pressure stabilized, then she was fine.

The constipation was the worst part for me. I had to start taking stool softeners to manage it. But overall, the medication has helped my heart a lot.

You should really talk to your doctor about any concerns. They can give you guidelines for how to navigate the side effects and make sure you're safe.

I had some issues with a slow heartbeat. It was really uncomfortable, but my doctor adjusted the dosage and it got better.

I've been on Verapamil for a while now, and while I did experience some dizziness at first, it went away after a few weeks. I would recommend talking to your doctor to ensure you are not having serious issues.
