Has anyone had success with Isosorbide Dinitrate 30mg for angina?
I was recently prescribed Isosorbide Dinitrate 30mg Oral Tabs for managing angina. Has anyone here had experience with this medication? I'm curious to know how well it works for others and what kind of side effects to expect. The doctor mentioned it could cause headaches and allergic reactions, but I'm hoping I can manage any minor reactions as long as it works well. Also, how does it compare to other medications for angina? Do any of you have tips for managing the potential side effects?

I was on this for a while, but the dizziness was too much for me. If you can handle it, it works well for angina. If not, there are other options.
Give it a few weeks, that's what my doc said, and if you still feel the headaches, then talk to him. Everyone's body responds differently to meds. But if it works, it's great.
Not sure if it’s the meds or the angina getting worse, but I’ve had way more headaches since I started. Maybe I’ll try a different medicine.
I had a bad reaction to it. Started getting weird rashes and my heart would race. I had to switch to something else, but good luck to you!
