Has anyone used Betamethasone Dip Aug 0.05% Ointment for eczema or psoriasis?
I've been prescribed Betamethasone Dipropionate Augmented 0.05% Ointment for my eczema, and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Has anyone else used this ointment? How did it work for you, and did you experience any of the more serious side effects like Cushing's syndrome or high blood sugar? I had a friend who got serious side effects like weight gain in the upper back. Scary stuff.
I've used this ointment for my psoriasis, and it worked wonders. No serious side effects, just a bit of stinging at first.
Be careful with this stuff. I broke out in hives after a few days. Definitely call your doctor if you react badly.
I have been using it and it seems to be working so far. I'm trying to be careful and not overdo the application.
I'm more worried about the long-term effects. Has anyone experienced thinning of the skin or other long-term issues?
I wasn't a fan of the dry skin it caused, but it definitely helped with the itching.

I wish they made a version without the possible side effects. I hate using this stuff.
